So after getting the Jeep towed, running out to the dealership to drop off keys, and having them look at it......it was just a bad battery. Ugh. So we spent $200 extra to fix a problem we already knew existed, but someone (who shall remain nameless) didn't take care of it. Anyways, the Jeep runs better than I've ever heard it run, so hopefully that was really the only problem.

ALSO!!!! I had a great idea yesterday regarding our apartment/house dilemma (read below). Instead of moving into a house, which was mainly to accomodate our doggies...we will instead be moving apartments within our building. There is the exact same apartment as ours on the 4th floor, with one added feature. A HUUUUGE PATIO!! I'm guessing it's 25 x 20 feet. It overlooks 8th street, where they are almost done building some swanky shops. Also, I'll be able to look out my window and see the patio garden and trees!! (Instead of the alley, which is what I currently see). The dogs will be able to run around leash free outside, and I can watch them from the kitchen window. We are also going to replicate what they have on the roof and build a 'dog potty area.' Kind of like a sandbox, but with cedar chips to get rid of any smell. That way we don't have to get their harnesses on, leash them up, and take them on a long walk EVERY time they need to go to the bathroom.

I can see us now...having friends over and eating out on the patio. Maybe we'll even get a little grill. But the best part is......it doesn't cost anything extra!!!

So, I went out last night with some girls for a drink. We had a good time, but I was getting tired so I decided to go home. I went out to the Jeep, started it up, and IT DIED!!! I tried five or six more times, but the same thing kept happening. So I locked it up and had my friends drive me home. Today has been a frenzy of calls to the dealership, the towing company, etc. What makes it more difficult is that was our only car!! I am stuck at home with no way to get to the dealership. Thankfully, the towing company agreed to tow it without me being there. Hopefully it won't cost too much! I feel like my dream house (see below) is out of the picture now :(

So, I have been wanting to rent a house ever since we moved up here. I know it would be a lot of work to get out of our lease, move again, unpack, etc. but I just can't stand apartment living anymore. And to top it all off, the apartment management posted a notice today that we are no longer allowed to take our dogs to the roof to go to the bathroom. This was THE MAIN reason we chose this apartment. I feel unsafe walking around at night and it was very nice to have the roof to take the dogs when Scott wasn't around. However, we just found out that a puppy died from parvo in our building, so they are going to have to treat EVERYTHING. This means no dogs on the roof until further notice. I am so frustrated with everything right now that this just puts me over the edge.

So I started looking online and found THIS. It just makes it harder not to get discouraged because it's nearly perfect for us and makes sticking it out in this apartment that much harder. Sigh. Advice??
